STARTING AT ZERO
These entires into my journal are more thoughts than poetryso here I go again....I pray your pardon

what if we were to turn
the clocks backwards or foreward
starting from nothing '0'
if nothing was a number on a clock
like ground zero
destroying time replacing it with nothing
away from any memory
of how we have ever been taught
about history from
our teachers
our parents
our friends
our lovers
would there be chaos in knowing anything
at a point of zero?
Perhaps death...
nothing before or after
constant with the moment of time
I say this because I believe love
if counted as a number
would be at zero
the conversion between
space and time
a meeting point
I have guilty of being a number three or four
but never a zero meeting with total equality
I never learned zero existed on a clock
as a number
I still look at sun dials
and time has happened
perhaps love requires
foegiveness from time
but zero does exist as a number
would we still live this game for power
in zero
an attempt to out do each other
divisions alotted in difference
I have learned loveat a number of three or four
a notch up from one or two from a negative
I did not have bad
parents
teachers
friendsor lovers
but I believe the world must know Zero
for love to happen...on a clock
a romantic view I suspose
but i think the world must be this
inorder for love to happen... again
