SKIN
I am told that there are many ways to skin a cat, And that a lepard never changes his spots. And if you see a Zebra, you'll always find a crossing. The Drummer loves the tone it produces when stretched tight across a gourd. Snakes often shed it Natzis found it useful as lamp shades. Scientifically, I am told that it is the largest organ of the body which covers other organs which are pretty much identical in every human being. Mine is beige - I've seen purple, others are black and brown and yellow and white. But of its many, many facinating uses, it always serves to amaze and baffle me how it is ceremoniously paraded as a measurement that deliniates divisions between peoples. One that can connote superiority or inferiority over another, whether one is beige or purple or black or brown or yellow or white. Sadly, perhaps because it is the last bastian and refuge for the small minded, the ignorant and the insecure. Now, I am a total mess inside - riddled with my own personal demons and imperfections. I'll take care of what's happening in the inside and I suspect that the outside will take care of itself.
