why
to overcome somehow
this world
I do not know
this part
that divides us
nor the complexion
of the night
we stand alike
in that darkness
living in sameness
eyes seeing only with light
our skins
and the world
they live in
sometimes
I feel like a nigger
when you remind me
of the difference
of our worlds...
