Change and Fortunes...

It has been some time since I have made an entry onto my blog...this is because i have had a transitional change from working out on the dock where i have been selling my souvenir items. i also had a brief relapse into my drinking again which i am glad to announce that I am back on track with sobriety . i have now returned to being a free lance artist and try to do as best as I can in this interim until i am settled again into regular work. This is taking up much of my time and creative energies so the practicality of earning a living has taken precedence over my creativity....hopefully i will soon be able to concentrate in this area again but for now this is just to touch base with my activities....peace and love...

the course of this wind
face adversity
straight in the face
standing upright
like a concrete block
I shall go on....

Bath of Salt...

Move like a crest
upon the waters
laugh into its waves
This moment leaving the last
eroding shores
as tongues
lick the ocean
turning and twisting
with the utterance
of change
It is a baptism, change
in a bath of salt...
